The West Kerr Chamber of Commerce and the First Thursday Group formed a group to investigate how people perceive Ingram and West Kerr County. From the inside and from the outside. Their report presentation on 10/3/19 was informative and can be found HERE. It was recommended that three areas need attention - Our perceived image from inside the area and outside; our visual image; and attracting more businesses and keeping them.

1) Image Promotion Committee (Marketing): Promote to area outside the Kerrville/Kerr County region. Emphasize area amenities. A good place to visit or stay. Promote shoppers to Ingram from Kerrville and West Kerr County. Capture that customer base.
2) Ingram and Surrounding Area Beautification & Community Development Committee: Focus on making Ingram/WKC attractive and build community. Better manage the image of Ingram. Its image is critical to the area.
3) Business development committee: Focus on starting, attracting, and keeping businesses in the area.
